Nothing beats being there in the moment. Experience it to the full in the moment and then let it drift off in to a beautiful memory. A photograph is my way of capturing a little bit of these moments. As I look at photographs I have taken I return to the imagination I had for the image, the planning and preparation, the very short instant when the image in perfection is there and the process of turning it in to a prompt for my memory. Jostling for position amidst hundreds of others to get that moving shot of the Alhambra with the cross below the horizon line of the Sierra Nevada. Watching the early morning soft subtle watercolour shifting light show at Lake Garda until that quintessential second arrives, click and then settle back in to the rest of the performance. Impossibly trying to centre the the peak of the Opera House at the Ciudad des Artes in Valencia. Find here and hopefully enjoy some of the moments I have captured. When I look at them now I can return in a little way to how it was in the moment.
